Yahoo Adds a Number of New Apps and Widgets to Its Sites

Yahoo has been promising us appification - the ability to access a multitude of applications, services and widgets from their web properties - for quite a while now, introducing their Yahoo Mail application platform and a new, app-oriented beta version of their web portal last year.

Today, they’re adding some new widgets and apps to Yahoo Mail, My Yahoo, Yahoo TV widgets and their open-source email & collaboration software Zimbra.
