Twitter Grinds to a Halt

Coincidence?

An hour or so after we posted news about a study that indicated 40 percent of all tweets were pointless babble , new tweets stopped showing up in our timelines and in Twitter search.

Although we’re still able to update Twitter, new tweets from those we follow – both on the Web interface and in third-party apps like TweetDeck and Seesmic Desktop – have grinded to a halt.
