ripieSome of us in the web community really wish Internet Explorer would die.

It makes web designers’ lives a pain, and it makes users’ computers less secure. So you might be glad to know that Internet Explorer is dying: really, really, really slowly.

In 2004, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer (IE) had over 90 percent of the browser market.

Today, they’re closer to 66 percent, while competitor Firefox has broken 1/5 market share.
