REPORT: Droid Sells 100,000 Units at Launch

Armed with a slick ad campaign and generally strong reviews , the smartphone — which runs on Google’s Android platform — is taking direct aim at the iPhone and might just be the first viable competitor to Apple’s throne of awesome.
