The new Xbox Live update launching tomorrow is the start of a rollout of lots of new content partners on the platform.

But the big innovation will be allowing them to be navigated from a unified search mechanism powered by Microsoft's Bing.

Ubisoft’s highly anticipated adventure game ‘I Am Alive‘ is expected to be released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace this winter.

The first demos of the game were well received by the gaming community and as a result many PC gamers asked Ubisoft to release a PC version as well.

This is not going to happen anytime soon though.

The Mathematics and Computer Science Society is hosting Will Muto, a technical artist from Xbox Live Studios.

He will be presenting on his experience as an artist in two settings, a small startup company as well as the Xbox division at Microsoft.

His talk will focus on collaboration between the art and engineering aspects of game design.
