A day after announcing support for the Sony PlayStation 3 and its developers, Nvidia said it would port its PhysX physics software development kit to the Nintendo Wii.

Nvidia said Tuesday that it has licensed its PhysX physics technology to developers for use with the Sony PlayStation 3.

This new controller -- should it actually see the light of day -- would put the Sony PlayStation 3 in more direct competition with Nintendo's Wii.
