In the months that followed, the BitTorrent site has won in court more than once, but it has not returned yet, as the anti-piracy groups continue to come up with new claims.

Dubbed by the report as the brains behind The Pirate Bay, Gottfrid is said to run a site that is ‘the scourge of the film and music industries’.

“It’s not stealing, morally or legally” he said.
