This Thursday, May 13, the MCS Society will be presenting a talk on iPhone App development by Senior Design Team Cy-Phi.
They will discuss what it’s like to develop apps for the iPhone and what it was like developing the Body Snatchers game.
Topics include developing apps in Objective-C, dealing with Apple’s licensing, and submission. The meeting will be held at 5PM in University Crossings room 153.
Food will be served.

On Thursday, April 29, the MCS Society will be hosting a Rapid-Fire set of presentations. Inspired by events such as Ignite Philly, MCS present a series of micro-talks (short 5-10 minute presentation) on various topics of interest to CS students.
There are still open slots, so if you have any topic you would like to speak about, please email the MCS Society.
The event will be held in University Crossings room 153 at 5PM and food will be provided.

Come take a break from finals and join the MCS Society for an end-of-term game night! Bring your friends and relax with a few rounds of various board games this Thursday, March 11.
If you own any games, feel free to bring them to the meeting. Also, plans will be discussed for next term’s events.

This Thursday, March 4, the MCS Society will be holding our third Quarterly CompUtion! This fun programming competition is open to all students.
It will be held in University Crossings room 153 at 5PM. Anyone interested is welcome, regardless of skill.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Teams consist of 2-4 members. No registration is required, simply show up and join a team.
We will also be introducing a new event at this competition.
We will be holding a secondary Snake AI competition.
