Abstract:

Over the last week, the entire world has been a witness to the extraordinary events in Iran.

Since the disputed Iran elections took place on June 12th, protesters have taken to the streets and many journalists have been kicked out.

In its place has been the use of social media: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and the web have been central to communications in and out of Iran.
