Obviously concerned about the cable industry's opposition to proposals for an "AllVid" standard that would unify pay TV and Internet content, Google, Best Buy, Mitsubishi, Sony, and TiVo have launched the AllVid Tech Company Alliance.
They want the FCC to move on this idea as fast as possible.
