MPAA Directly & Publicly Threatens Politicians Who Aren't Corrup...

Techdirt  Fri, 01/20/2012 - 20:25

Reinforcing the fact that Chris Dodd really does not get what's happening, and showing just how disgustingly corrupt the MPAA relationship is with politicians, Chris Dodd went on Fox News to explicitly threaten politicians who accept MPAA campaign donations that they'd better pass Hollywood's favorite legislation...

'Real Names' Doesn't Exactly Guarantee A High Level Of Conversat...

Techdirt  Wed, 08/17/2011 - 15:06

Eventually a price is agreed upon between the networks and the cable providers... and the consumers pay more. Great, huh?

He was involved in the creation of Nupedia, Wikipedia's predecessor, which was more of a traditional expert-edited online encyclopedia.

While many involved in Wikipedia these days downplay his role there, Sanger has made a pretty compelling case that he was heavily involved in the early days.
