Love it or hate it, you have probably heard of Facebook. You have visited the site, seen if it’s for you, and made the decision to either try it out or dismiss it as a fad or worthless time-drain.

Last week I wrote "Cloud is Just Another Word for "Sucker". My objections to buying into this whole "cloud" services fad are three-fold: trust, reliability, and performance.

But why not do-it-yourself? Linux has everything you need.
