LinMin Corp. beefed up automation of its cross-platform Bare Metal Provisioning tool.
The new version 5.2 from the Redwood City, Calif. startup now includes an Application Program Interface (API) through which a business process can initiate the provisioning of additional servers or desktops.
The tool works on physical or virtual servers running Red Hat, Novell, Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora, Asianux and Microsoft Windows.
