Keep in mind, this is to answer questions left over on Listorious. Why was it spamming Twitter? Where was the off button?

So, what problem does OAuth solve exactly?

It’s obviously not user confusion. And Scoble is a knowledgeable technical person—imagine what this does to a regular user.

Like any technology that allows the user to abrogate their responsibility to be alert, OAuth is one bad idea.
