I admit I don't follow Zend Framework very closely, since I haven't been using it for any serious work.

Recently I needed to create a script that processed two input files. By processed I mean that the script needed to get a line from one file, then get a line from the second file, and then do something with them.

Sounds easy enough, but it's not that easy unless you know about some of bash's extended redirection capabilities.

New Magento module for manufacturers - Michael Kimsal

A new module for Magento was put out in to early release today.  The module provides “made to order” functionality for ecommerce shops which need to provide custom ordering capabilities for ‘just in time’ manufacturing.

Oh wiki where art thou? - Larry Garfield

A recent thread on the Drupal documentation list has brought up once again the "why don't we have a wiki on Drupal.org?" question.

It comes up regularly; you can set your watch by it.

What I've never understood is why anyone would want to take a step backwards from Drupal's handbooks to a simple wiki.

How would removing features and capabilities help Drupal's huge pool of documentation?

What exactly makes something "a wiki"?
