Tried to follow the php|tek twitter but as has been quite typical lately the Twitter service continues to be sporadic.

tecosystems: "...I don't think it's entirely naive to hope that Andi is correct when he says 'I believe Microsoft has finally understood that their closed nature has significantly hindered the growth of their eco-system.' It's optimistic, perhaps, but not naive.

Tomorrow night I'm hopping on a plane to Las Vegas for Microsoft's MIX08 event.

I'm really looking forward to the event.

Last year's event was excellent. It gave me a lot of insight on how Microsoft is thinking about the modern Web and how they believe developers and designers will build Web applications and Web services.
