Twitter LogoSunday, March 21st (a few hours from now on the West Coast) marks Twitter’s 4th birthday — exactly four years since Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey sent his first Tweet and, along with Evan Williams and Biz Stone , started a phenomenon.

Last month, Twitter hit 50 million Tweets per day , and last summer it was announced that “Twitter” would enter the Collins English Dictionary .
