Google Testing a Permanent Search Sidebar

google_sidebar_260According to Google’s vice president of search product and user experience Marissa Meyer, Google is looking to streamline its search experience.

Using a jazz metaphor, Meyer explains that customers aren’t happy with the fact that Google’s search interface is too unpredictable (much like jazz, especially if you aren’t into it) at times.
