About the AuthorTony Northrup, MCSE, CISSP, is a professional consultant and writer. Tony
started his career as a C programmer, but began focusing on systems

consulting in Austin, Texas, he moved to the Boston, Massachusetts area to
design one of the first large-scale Windows-based datacenters at BBN, one
of the founders of the Internet.
