The latest research conducted by IT security firm Sophos shows that it’s very easy to convince Facebook users to reveal their personal info to complete strangers.
This is nothing new, mind you – after all, many users see Facebook as a possibility to make new friends – but it is worth noting that simply friending someone you don’t know nothing about can result in identity theft.
